In recent decades, in the prefecture of Xanthi, dominated by the region of Avdera, serious efforts are underway by winemakers who have managed to redefine the region’s position on the wine map of the country, producing excellent products.
In the year 2013, we installed our first plot of vines with wine-making varieties on the farm of the settlement of Peteinos Xanthi.

While the settlement belongs administratively to the Municipality of Avdera, geographically it is only five kilometers from the city of Xanthi. It is a completely different wine site compared to the established Avdera, but also the rest of the country’s grape-producing regions.
The choice to establish our vineyard in this location is directly related to our origin from the region. However, the differentiation of the area from the safe choices of viticulture sites in the country (altitude – sea) is the challenge.
From 2013 until today, when the first phase of the establishment of our vineyard has been completed, in the area is perhaps the only professional viticultural holding, despite its extremely small size.

Malagouzia and Vidiano are the main varieties of our vineyard, followed by Limnio, while a very small area is occupied by Chardonnay and Syrah.
Private experimental vinifications, with minimal interventions and non-existent technological equipment are the evidence which support our decision to communicate our effort to the public.
Starting from the year 2021, our first attempt at professional winemaking is presented. The result of a long-term effort, scientific approach to the subject and exclusively personal engagement at all productive stages.
